Effortless Creativity: (Sunday Communications Workshop, ~1.5 hours)
(Please note these are the details of one of the workshops on Sunday, not the complete program on Sunday) Many people think creative thinking must be difficult, and must be a real effort, in order to be any good. We all have a tendency to pursue the new, the original or the clever, as if these qualities are valuable in their own right. When it comes to opening up the imagination, the opposite is true. In this session we will use some of the same techniques used by the world’s best comedy improvisers to get the imagination flowing. Once you’ve done this session you’ll understand why we say that only bad creativity is hard; good creativity is easy. This session will give you tools for thinking creatively on your own, and also for running brainstorms and being a good and effective brainstorm participant.
